If Marina had happened to be on stage before, perhaps she would have already been a star, would have acted in film and performed in one of the State Theatres.
Lear-Mite is a true witness story of how unclaimed talent has led a person to prison, and further interaction with Shakespeare's texts has led to freedom.
Witness Theatre or testimonial theater is one of Teatr.doc’ inventions. That is when the narrative of an individual is presented by the individual himself. In “Lear-Mite" Marina Kleshcheva witnesses about her own life and fate, which were once destroyed by prison and then appeared to be rescued by Shakespeare and the team of Teatr.doc who one day came to prison colony with a workshop. By the way, now Marina Kleshcheva not only performs her own shows in Doc, but also acts in film, for instance, by Kirill Serebrennikov.
